When Bank Genie 3 is installed, you will find a new Bank Genie 3 icon on your desktop.
Start Bank Genie 3.
You will need to re-register. You dont need a new licence.
Use your original Bank Genie licence number.
Get in touch by email if you need a reminder.
Click System
Tab on Menu.
Start the program Import and Upgrade - BS194
Click the Help
button in the screen which appears and read about the upgrade process.
The folder settings (new and old) should be correct.
Click the Do Test button.
You should get a message indicating that the files are OK
Click the Start the Upgrade button
The program does the import and upgrade.
In one step, data from your OLD Bank Genie installation is imported into the Bank Genie 3 environment, then upgraded.
And thats it!
More info:
Both the old version of Bank Genie AND Bank Genie 3 will be fully operational on the same computer.
When you are happy that all is well in the
Bank Genie 3 environment, you can uninstall the old version.
